一、ghost***town是什么意思
ghost town是被遗弃的、没有人居住的城镇，中文译作“死城”、“鬼城”。
ghost town并非是鬼住的城镇，而是说“空无一人”的城镇。在很多情况下，人们用 ghost town描述很安静、不见人影儿的地方。在西方文化中，人类曾经住过的地方一旦人去屋空，就成了鬼魂出没的乐园。于是便有了 ghost town一说。但在生活中，由于这种描述太常见，人们对用 ghost town描述的地方不再闻之毛骨悚然，而是不见人踪的代名词而已。
